im taking my girlfriend to NY city for the 4th and was woundering wheres a good place to take her in the city that cheep?

i know the empire state building and the statue of liberty but what else?  

Also i plan on going to CBGB's on thursday for this bands CD release party. But im going to see The Krays.

do you mean to say to take her to a place within the city thats cheaP? if so there is no good place thats cheap, its either good or cheap, you pay for what you get. If ur really cheap treat her to the "staten island ferry crossing" lol its FREE and you get to be "near" the statue of liberty :)

Go to the Hayden Planetarium......awesome building, and admission is a donation ($10.00 suggested).

Or just walk 5th avenue. If your not from a big city, the walk is loads of fun. Try not to look up too much, gives you away as a tourist immediately.

The Hayden Planetarium is AWESOME, as is the rest of the museum... a must-see, without a doubt.

USS Intrepid Air and Space Museum

Take her to the USS Intrepid in the harbor.  Its a decommissioned aircraft carrier that's been converted to a floating museum with aircraft, space flight artifacts, and such like that.  She'll love it (and even if she doesn't, you will)!

And of course, Ground Zero.
