No fireworks here at home. The drought has been so severe the entire county has placed a ban on ALL fireworks. This means no display even in town. Side note, private fireworks were already banned no matter what the drought conditions. Just can't trust those nasty citizens not to hurt themselves ya know.

hehe know what you mean. They had a burn ban here in Austin too, but we just got done with 5 days of rain so who knows. My dad blows off about $500-$600 every 4th, big stuff too. He must be one of thos stupid citizens

I sure miss living in Texas when fireworks are concerned.

I'll be celebrating tomorrow by helping my mom and stepdad move! yay! lol. Oh well, maybe there will be a hamburger or something to be grilled along the way... If not, there's always the Boston Pops on A&E in the evening.
