that we quit Warbirds, Air Warrior, Fighter ace, etc. for 2.5 years ago. The original small community of flight simm enthusiasts that formed at that time knew that Aces High was a developing game. We knew it was rough around the edges at that time simply because the code was still being written. But those of us who knew HT/pyro and the rest of the crews track record hopped on board and paid 30 bucks a month for a developing work-in-progress. To the ones who played through the bombless B17's, porked ponies, the C-Hawg debacle, etc. etc. this version 1.10 is going to be the one where AH comes unto it's own, WB's is clearly going to be playing catch up now.

I ran home a few minutes ago and took a quick P40b sortie. The map is freakin' huge and could easily accomodate 1000+ players (not sure about servers) Big thanks to the AK's for the great map, looks awesome. I noticed many small changes to the clipboard. I didn't have time to get into a bomber but that's gonna really be fun. The game just took a great leap with this new version.

Anyways, big to the original AH'ers. The ones who played when many people said "it sucks". Now they're eating crow, as well as opening accounts. :)

just think how much better it's gonna get though.  Improved GVs will eventually come about.  Obviously more planes!  Even more improvements to the strat model.  More naval targets (merchant ships, smaller escort carriers, big battleships!)

This game just keeps getting better and better.  :)

Well, yes, but eager for patches so I can again man field or fleet guns and also not get bounced periodically with the message Lost UDP session. Switch to TCP.

Especially initially, enthusiasm varies with the way AH meshes with your computer.  Right now I need some patches, and HiTech and crew are always great about developing those promptly.

Missing my target with a flight of bombers felt great, I looked at the close miss down the aiming sight... bam bam bam bam.. all about 50 yards away from that damn Fighter hangar :D
