Whew! Everytime HS speaks it reminds me why I left that wonderful community. What a complete jerk. Reminds me of the time he changed the flight models, gave it to us trainers to test. We didn't like the changes, moaned and groaned for over a week.  Then they release them anyway and when the community starts going ballistic, HS say's well the trainers tested them and said they were ok.

Then they started deleting trainers threads to trainers on their ill founded UBB board.  That's when I left.  I realy can't believe ien let's him post.  If anybody at ANY company ever talked to me like that they'd never get another penny from me.

I realy love the part where HS says he has all these pictures and info, oh but ofcourse can't post it.  What a hipocrite!  If you got it but can't show it, you ain't got it!

HT, I don't know if your still in the FUBAR squad. Buf if you are and you still talked to HS, tell him I said he's a jerk please   AND to Pyro and HT, thanks for not being like this guy.  Everybody should compair Pyro's method of response to critisism to that of HS. Pyro is the defenition of class in my book!

Uhm, I don't know much about AGW.

But read some posts. No kill message? No info on qho killed you? No gun camera? Porke 30mm? Hard vs soft on front/back of engine. Based on almost pre internet modem connections?

Sorry for asking, but why are these dudes still playing that game when AH is around? Larger planeset and HA would be an explanation. AH being different and possibly more difficult another.

But seriously. Sounds like they stick to a 1988 Datsun when there's a 2001 Jaguar waiting on the front porch, for less money.

I think it's either the smaller plane set or the diferent flight model.  I'm realy suprised the more WB players haven't switched to AH. Of course there is the whole Mac issue, but business is business.  I hope the FM change will bring more WB players this way.

You have no idea how much more fun the arena would be with players like Prop, Stigr, Sick,=ac=, Scop  the list goes on and on.  DAMN good sticks and fun people too.  Hopefuly there's not too much bad blood between the communities now. My bad blood is with the company and the way it treats, looks at it's community. At least the way it did a year ago when I quit.

Games like Aces High and WW2 Online will succeed over games like WB3 for one reason, I believe.   The owners want to play the games themselves! THEN make money on them.

Scop is involved with a game called "Terra". It's in free beta now. See the "Free Beta, come break our server! O-T" thread on AGW.

The funniest part is I'll bet that not a single one has even held a 30mm round in their hand - let alone fire it and even smaller odds - from one airplane aimed at another.

HS was partly responsible in my leaving WB, he certainly was'nt the cause, there were many things that I personally did'nt like in WB at the time which stopped me playing as much so I made my consumer choice and tried out AH and enjoyed it. HS deleting my posts on the iEN UBB after one tongue in cheek remark about not beleiving early plane model shots were actual in game shots (which I still stand by) was the last straw, after he deleted one I posted it again and he threatened to remove me from the board completley, so as a customer I used the only weapon I had and withdrew my subscription to Warbirds. Although I did not want to add fuel to the fire another thread by HS angered me, the thread he posted about CRS and problems with WW2OL, granted they were not his words but in his position he should NOT have posted them.

"I'll bet that not a single one has even held a 30mm round in their hand"  - Wrong there

"let alone fire it" - Hmmm true. Does .50 cal, 20mm, 23mm and 40mm Count? If so, wrong again.

"from one airplane aimed at another" - Well, ya got me there.

It sure seems to me in early posts that he blames HT for a lot of what is wrong in Warbirds today too.  I don't know how accurate that statement is, but wouldn't want to see a pissing match there.  Apparently if I get the gist, the whole thing started because Buff Hardness was 1.5 in one of the arenas they were practicing HO attacks on B-17s with 262, many sprites and no (As VADR Said) NO, Zero Damage to the Buff.  So it started with a Arena issue, and has blown up into, well, it just Blew Up real good (The thread, not the 30MM.)

HS has made an artform out of blaming HT's 'messy code' and blaming all the ills of the world on the original WB team but what the HS cheerleaders forget when swallowing all this crap is that WB was originally programmed over 5 years ago with the last major updated  version out about 2-3 years ago, its all very well banging on that the old gunnery programming limits this and limits that but it was written a long time ago and computers and internet connectivity have moved a long way sine then which allows programmers to get alot more into a sim. The porked gunnery under the iEN era of WB was another reason why I quit, whether WB as it stands now models this or that it seems HS is standing steadfast by engineering formulae that WB as it stands now just does'nt stand a chance of simulating yet players have had a wealth of historical evidence to support increasing the damage effect of the Mk108 and yet HS refuses to back down (ego?) and yet increases the effectiveness of other cannon in WB.

What does it matter that they have not fired this weapon in reality? from reading Vadr's posts on the subject he's pounded buffs driven as drones to test the Mk108 and the results are not what he and every other player who has read first hand reports on the effectiveness of the Mk108 expects, at 300yards three rounds would take down or at least seriously damage a B17 beyond being able to continue its mission.
