I'd like to clear some things:
first, 278 kills were in Fw190A8, rest were in other planes.. (or close to that)

11 killed... there was a bug in ground things back then that caused me to die already when I got in the plane few times.
(I guess that bug discussion doesnt exist anymore as board been reseted already twice or so.. but you might check it from HT if he remembers)
I don't really remember it anymore, but I remember that it caused the kills while I was on the ground without danger of getting killed.
I don't remember though in what planes those happend, as I surely didn't give much attention to that other than cursing to myself and whining to forums about the bug.

I looked pilot scores and remembered the case:

Those killeds were disconnects from the
host, as no landing was counted if you got disconnected and that was automatically dropped into killed caterogy.

Killed in ground bug in either despawning or spawning caused death only in 3-5 case

I just didn't remember that whole disconnect thing at all

I'd like to remind you also that kill streak is not K/D.
Kill streak is longest streak of kills without getting killed.
So forget those K/D compares, I've never tried to get high K/D, but high streaks.
Too bad they missed streak counters then.. I liked that streak feature in WarBirds.

In flight / aerial combat, nobody shot me down or caused me to go down. (definately not in Fw190a8)

Closest cases were something like vertical stab coming off once and wingtip missing twice and some unbelievable hits in the bottom from Kierens P51 without damage.
Also case where I was destroying buildings down low in B17 at empty field and then one came there with fighter for like 10 times, who I vulched down before he got up.. luckily he didn't get up anymore as I had ran out of ammo in the B17.
(I got still screenshots somewhere.. specially of those wingtipless times)

hi all:

I really should stay out of this as I don't need to throw gas on a burning fire. It is a good record, fishu should be proud. but in beta 2, there was no 190's and you could not destoy the buildings at the field. unless he was talking about the ammo dumps and fuel depots. the hangers could not be shot down. and as there was no V hanger, it could not be shot either.

In B-17.
The guys name who tried to come up that some 10 times was Wolf37, if I recall right.

...oh.. thats you by the way

ah.. I found it:

wolf37 has 0 kills and has been killed 5 times against Fishu in the B-17G.

(must been some other guy coming up next couple times.. as I recall that I shot some 7-10 planes there)

so now you remember who you shot down 10 times in one night way back in beta 2. by the way, I just took a peek at your score for beta 2 fishu, hmmm it seems you only had some 200 kills. where did the number 300 and something come from.

and that 5 times could be over two to four weeks.

I did mention same case in another thread too, some month ago or so and I didn't want to mention your name.
didn't think it as good thought, until you came to yap about strafing buildings

This is what it gave to me when inquiring kill stats:
"Fishu has 347 kills and has been killed 0 times."
(hmm, it has long memory)

Looks like I got 7 kills in B17 that tour - those were all from the same field in same day, otherwise I was just sissy bombing. (I didn't even carry weapons most of the time, as it gave little climbing bonus which was importat to get when going to close by field)
As I recall, I was there strafing buildings for the score as it seemed so lifeless field.

Otherwise kills were following:
Fw190a8 - 278 (I've kept this as my streak)
B17 - 7
Spitfire IX - 15 (should I be ashamed?

)
Bf109 - 17

okey.. couldn't find the others.. guess I need more coffein.

I just took another look at the scores.

if you check kill stats, fishu has 347 kills, no deaths.

if you check pilot score, fishu has,
in fighter, 212 fighters and 93 bomber kills.
in bomber, fishu has 7 fighter kills

as for any kills in a 190 of any model, no kills, the 190's where not yet in the game.

and in beta two, fishu killed wolf37 8 times, as wolf37 had no kills against fishu.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind to start arquing about that do I have 278 streak in Fw190 or not, since that wouldn't change anything - I know it better than any of you what I did in Fw190a8 during BTour 2.
That was clear streak and if you wan't to refer to streak, refer to 278 and Fw190a8, I don't really care of those rest kills

(190 streak was special to me, others were just done aside it)

What comes to Festers streak in P-51, I think its really good job as P-51 really isn't that great either, although, clearly better for disengaging than Fw190A8. (but A8 sure does dive away good :> )
If you get caught in P-51 in bad situation, its far worse than it has been.
In Btour 2, P-51 made some unbelievable stunts that its no more capable of.

A-5 nor F-8 wasn't.

lol.. sounds like my warbirds streaks.
Twice got over 50 in P-38J, then rammed BOTH times into B-25's butt while attacking from above

All this is mute. Anyone that can get over 50 kills and no deaths amazes me, period. 200+? Wow. 300? Can't imagine.

I once took and B17 off from many, many sectors away from any reds to grab alt, and there was a P38 (Cit)at the same base rolling. It was a 20 minute ride or so in that thing, let alone a B17.

You can have the greatest mission getting 5 kills from a vulched field, just as BnZ'ing safely for a month. The stats don't show a whole lot.

IF you can play that way, more power to you. Incredible record with out a doubt.
