Heh, the last three months I haven't been up flying more than once. Schedule has been brutal: we first had to finish off a project that dealt with remotely controlling devices over the net. The system was to be designed so that it was open and any devices that fulfilled our protocols and interfaces should be able to be controlled.
Turned out to be a bigger chunk of work than we thought - especially aswe had to &(%( write code for an example device (in this case a coffee machine) linking its (primitive) firmware into our (utterly sophisticated
) system.
When that was done, there was four exams - a combined programming/compiler theory/algorithm one/system development one, one on network and distributed systems, the project exam and finally (for me) one on 3d graphics programming.
Flunk rate was fairly high - from 30 to 45% on each exam.
But, being the utterly supreme German Experten I am, I walked away with one A and three A-'s.
