A little birdie has spoken of a 1000 player limit in the MA.  I wonder how far off that is.

By this same token, don't you also believe that the map should be tested before they make the jump?...  -SW

Ah... I'm curious... how does a company "make the jump" and suddenly increase its customer base?  Do you know something we don't, like is some other online flight sim going belly up soon and it's player base being delivered to AH?

I like the map, appreciate the work that went into it, & welcome any new maps that can provide equal platform for all countries.
***I also welcome the new "fat line server" that will stop the lags, delays, host que, & general poor game play that i seem to be experiencing in increase as the number of players in arena grows. I am enjoying the new planes & the formation buffs, I love the smoke in TA.  However to me a clear connection is of utmost concearn, id rather play a simple graphics close to zero delay game than some beautiful graphic filled game thats so full of players it cant provide real time play.
Maybe somthing has changed that im not aware of thats causing my troubles, but they have gotten wose as the numbers have grown. I have a pent3 933 with a SBlive  & Geforce2-  on DSL.
My connections are sometimes good- flat lines on delay & que holding FRs of40s to 20s. But often they are poor with spikes in both que & delay, I notice these high spikes when my FR dips into single digits & I look at net status & find them off the charts.
I guess what im saying is I love the candy but dont forget the connection..........

Credit has to be given to those that put this much effort into such a huge undertaking. Great work love all aspect except the Pie shape. If you would have made it anything else the Pizza comment would disappear Like in corperating all England, Euroupe and the Russian front. with the pacific on they other side of this huge Map.With the Australia  and all the Inland inbetween it and China,Japan. Then maybe I would be Happy.    :o

All joking aside once your in it and playing you forget that it looks like a pizza.

Wonderful job on the p40's and all the Strat objects and even the bomb calibration. Haven't hit a base or a a Strat object since but its been fun trying.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

How about also starting topics WITH THE LOTS OF THINGS YOU ARE LIKING IN 1.10 instead of focusing just on the negative ones?.

So please STOP the "I don't like this map" spam chite. WE ALREADY know there are people who don't like it, and I'm sure HTC won't stay arms crossed about it.

ok?

Well, now move on. [/B]

Come on man! That would imply THankfulness....

I like the map. But it's too big. Here is an example. Not primetime, but not off hours either. I just took this from the MA.

The pic shows that while there are tiny fights here and there, there is no really good fight anywhere. No where you can just take off and get into the action.

I just took off to investigate a small dar bar. By the time I got there, there were no more enemies, but TWO CVs below me. The concentration of ack got me in about 30 seconds. Aggrevating.

When I log on and see this, I log off.

Still looking for some news on server.... is no one else interested in acquiring a server that can handle all these players? The map & the planes are insignificant if the gameplay is lacking. Maybe I should apply these posts somewhere else?
