Best release yet? or does V1.05 still hold that distinction?

Well, I was a dissapointed to learn that this is the ONLY map. I like the pizza map. It is challenging. But it is not the only one I want to see week-in and week-out. I miss green stuff and deep blue water.

I really don't like the calibration function on the bombing. The other changes to the bombing are fine, including the bomb scatter. IMO, the calibration is overly complex and causes more inaccuracy than the scatter. Maybe this is more realistic. But this is a game and I play it for fun and sometimes fun games are not completely realistic. I've definitely noticed a heavy reliance on JABO and far fewer bombers in the air since 1.10 has come out.

Now that the map is so big, the map view screen is way to small and makes it very difficult to identify where I need/want to be. I'd like a funtion that allows a full screen or small screen map view.

But otherwise, I am very pleased with the new plane set, play funtions and the new map.

Well, my gunnery is still the same as it used to be in 0.44 (or was that 0.64?), but yeah, I do like this release. The only thing this version lacks is an anty-whine shield...

Hmmm my high water mark is 1.02 where we got GV's.

Stayed up all night it seemed with my bro Teeeerex shooting down planes in panzers.

Does this release beat that in terms of features, new stuff in the game? Yes, 1.10 is best ever for now. Lots of new planes, new features, fun stuff to experiment with.

It rocks and so does all the staff at HTC.

Too me by far the best release was the one with the CV groups!
that one just added so much to the game it just made it a WHOLE new game!

I like this release i just think the map as it is should be broken down so that the 3 regions are broken down into somthing like :
1 is snow
1 is green/ grassy
1 is desert

that way it just kinda represents all the areas that WW2 was faught in. Plus i get sick of all that damn desert all the time.!

AK's did a great job on the terrain just that one minor switch would make this PIZZA PIE MAP awsome!

just my thoughts no whines and no squeakes.........

I have to agree with Fatty. I think the introduction of carriers in 1.05 was the best release (well, my favorite at least). This one is a very close second with the introduction of all the new planes and gameplay changes/innovations.

The best was the very first beta. It was an amazing change coming from WarBirds. Even with the limited planeset, map and all the bugs, I knew that AH had much more potential than WB. The FM and gunnery seemed much more realistic, IMO.

Never the less, this release is a great one. I love the bomber 3-ships, and hate the new bombsight (I't might be awile till I'm proficient with it). The new planes are great, and the new map has created some breathing room and more can now be found in the MA than mass furballs. I'm having more fun in the MA lately than I've had in months.

Yeah, I think 1.10 has to be the best for me, though 1.03 was the next best imo. It just keeps getting better
