which means it'll have to scarifice some low speed maneuverability.

i guess their are other spits for that.

not that the spits dont have a good enoug roll rate already:)

but yeah. if htc has time the i dont see why not.

My personal opinion is that we have more spits than we know what to do with.  I think an important addition before *another* Spitfire is a green P-38.

And it wasn't even a TED that said it. Hehe thanks Puke. :D  There are also some important Japanese planes that are conspicuously absent from the current planeset. I'd like to see those before another Spitfire.

spit fire has more models than any other plane in AH!, IMO I don't think we need more spits yet, HTC needs to keep focusing on earlywar planes untill we have enough to do some really good early war scenarios :)

A green P-38 would be great.
A clipped wing LF IX or XVI would be even better. :D

pffft!....why would anyone want a p38J (You TED's must be using some sort of mind control to get people to mention the pj ;) ).:D

There are only 4 spits in AH- the mkI, V, IX and the XIV (XIV doesn't even get used because of it's high perk value).  There are 5 109's to choose from and 4 190's- i see no reason not to add to the collection of spits.:)  It's not as if what i'm asking for is a rare plane with very few produced (like a spit21.....mmmm 4 hispanos on a spit).

P.S. a clipped wing, tear drop canopy spit14 would be nice.  Oh, a mkVIII would be good too.;)

I thought it was widley agreed that Rhubarb missions (for which the clipped wing Spitfires were designed) were a bad idea

Don't forget the Seafire.  It actually wears a "Spit" tag too.

Seafire isn't a spitfire.  It has Sea instead of spit so it doesn't count. :)  The spitfire is an RAF aircraft, the seafire is in the Fleet Air Arm.;)

Compleeeeeeetely different aircraft. :P Ok you got me, i was trying to make the spit varients look smaller.:D

But it can't be helped to have so many different variations of the spitfire.  It served as the Uk's (and commonwealth) frontline fighter from the outbreak (well there were more hurri's at the outbreak) of the war until the end and it was constantly improved upon as a consequence.

Soooooo...add more spitfires!:D
