Transmit inop on Range Radio
« on: July 08, 2002, 02:09:08 PM »
I'm having trouble with the range radio.  I can recieve other players (when in range), but I can't seem to trasmit on the range radio.  Pressing f12 does not break squelch (produce beep tone).  I've tried remapping the transmit key to "SC" (scroll lock), and "M" - both do not work either.  BTW I can transmit to myself using the "T" key and setting the radio to ".radio 5 " I can hear the beep tone, my voice, and see my on screen, so that function appears to be working.  Also, the appropriate check boxes are selected in the Ah voice control panel.  Any thoughts?

Do I need to set the Range radio to any particular channel, and how exactly would I do that?

My system:

Abit AT7/2100+/512M/GF4, connecting through a Linksys router/cable modem to the internet.

Many thanks,
