Discod....what MB do you have?

I used to average in the 40's with a Celeron 533...32meg Asus Gforce II Mx vidcard and 128meg of ram...Asus MB.

I just popped in a Celeron 800 (100mhz fsb) and now average in the mid to upper 50's.

I think you should average in the 40's and suspect your motherboard may be old?

hehe P3 500 Mhz 256 ram , KYRO 2, propet 4500.. and im happy on the ground about 35-40 in the air 40-60

I got the same clock speed aas you and got a TNT 2 and 256 ram No Overclocking

I run about 45-60 fps on average

I have a P4 1.5GHz, 400 MHz bus, 256MB PC133 RAM

Nvidia Gerforce 2 GTS 32MB Card

I get 65-85FPS @ 32bit color 1024x768
FR drops to 30-40 over furball field with much smoke!

i got a Athlon 750MHz with 256 MB Ram

get an average of 35 fps @1280x1024 16bit

dropping to 14 fps in smoke(clouds

i think my Matrox G400 32MB is the bottle neck, right??

would a KYRO 2 Graph board make 40fps @1280x1014 32 bit possible, and keep the fps above 25 in smoke/clouds?

and can my old MSI 6167 (hope designation # is right) Mainborad handle that new graph card??

I average around the 40-50fps mark with stuff happening but clear sky at alt it goes way higher, and in smoke it drops as low as 24fps

AH at 1200x768 32bit colour no anti-aliasing is a lot higher but i prefer to use the effects i bought the card for

I remember when I had TNT2, it had some 40 fps otherwise and even as low as 5 fps when flying through smoke.

Bought ATI Radeon 64mb VIVO and FPS was at 40 FPS when going through smoke

otherwise 60-70fps range.
Even with tens of smokes, FPS was at lowest at 14 fps when I flew through one of the smokes.. for less than split second, then jumped back to over 24.

oh.. with 850mhz, overclocked celeron 566.
