Since 1.10 I'm experiencing AH minimizing to desktop for no apparent reason. It always happens when I first log on and it might be AHvoice related, but I'm not sure.

When I try to maximize the AH window, I get the following...

when I try to restart AH, I get a different error of...
"Runtime error, c:\programfiles\htc\aceshigh\aceshigh.exe
abnormal program temination"

I used to get this when I would ALT-TAB to minimize AH, so I got smart and quit alt-tabbing. Well, now it is doing it automatically. I dumped 4 times in 4 attempts tonight and am giving up.

Do anyone have any idea what the heck is going on? System specs are below.... HELP!!

Looks like your video card may be giving you some difficulty. What type do you have?

That error is the result of a video driver being installed without removing the old one, either done during a video driver update or a video card replacement.

Remove the video driver from your system and set the video type to VGA or SVGA and reboot.

Then reinstall the video driver.

NOTE: This may not fix the problem if old video drivers from a previous install are still on your HD. I see it is a NVidia driver, which are known for not getting removed during a de-install. There are third party utilities for purging a system of NVidia drivers, but I do not have the links for them.

Maybe someone will step in and offer them up.

Well, I'll give it a try. I just redid my system from scratch (formating HD and everything) about 3 months ago and haven't updated any drivers since, so I know there are no old drivers out there.... Sometimes I really hate computers.

Ok,..wierd then.

Just FYI:

When you get the DDHELP error from a DX based app, it is almost always related to the video driver not being installed correctly. In your case,...if you have not updated your drivers since installation from scratch (I assume you repartitoned and formatted the partitions before the reinstall), then you got me on this one.
