A little off topic,  But It involves AH Pilots so what the heck...

Are there any AH Flyers planing on attending?????

This is the Largest Airshow of its type in the World.   Hundreds of WW2 Planes, Pilots and nearly a million attendees.  Its simple the most amazing thing.  Everyone should go at least once...

I and GunrCAF will be arriving on Tuesday July 23rd and leaving on late Sunday the 28th.   I will be camping on the grounds.   I would gladly make an attempt to meet anyone going and maybe help show you around.   This is my Twelfth AirVenture now.

Also, HTC sould someday put a booth here.  This is one place you have literately hundreds of thousands of potential customers in one place.   Many of other Sims are represented.

Im surprized,  no responce....

The Largest gathering of WW2 Aircraft in the world, and nobody from this comunity is going to be there?   (besides myself and co)

I remember a couple years ago, 200 warbirds overhead at one momemt,  incredible!

AirVenture is less than 2 weeks away....

(shameless punt too)

Cant make it this year :(  It is quite a show. I met Pappy Boyington and Robert T Smith (avg) back in the late 80's. If anyone has the chance the show is worth every minute.

I have been going every year since 86... well I have been a member of EAA since then, and had been going to the fly-in several years before :)

If anyone is going let us know, we can try to link up and hang out by the war birds.

I remember several years ago, before AH, Warbirds had a booth there.  I played AW at the time.  I remember taking a FW190 for a spin;)

Cool, I just saw this thread.  I'm going for the first time!  I figured that I'd make it interesting and didn't want to deal with the HUGE NOTAMed arrival so....  I am racing my plane in the AirVenture Cup.

The race departs from Kitty Hawk on the 21st with an overnight stop in Dayton OH.  We'll continue the race on the 22nd.

Some of you may have seen the "lil champ" at the MAAM arishow in Reading last month? :)

At any rate, stop by the parking area for the AirVenture Cup Racers and say hi.  I'm Race20 (N500EZ) and it's a Rutan Vaireze.

See some of you guys there I hope.

P.S. I can only hang around until Wed Morning.
