I just got rid of a lot of other monthly expenses. I got out of a lot of "clubs" which ripped me off, mailing me crap i didn't want (books, cd's and latex underwear).

Girlfriend is happy, but misses the underwear - flying without now....

Chaos, check the other thread on pricing. It'll show that AH is quite cheap compared to other hobbies.

Explain to her that it's a hobby. Tell her you'll take up scuba diving or sky diving if it wasn't for AH.

There aren't any rich skydivers. Some have well paying jobs, but none are rich

.

Compared to some other hobbies you COULD be supporting, $360 is very cheap.

Everything is cool now.
It just took her a few days to understand how much i enjoy this game.

I have no problem with the price of AH. I first thought it was high but after seeing the other WWII games out, AH is worth the $.

"Fishing-Trip" I was in last autumn did cost about 400$ from one weekend:
Ship to island and back to continent 80$
Cabin in island and boat 50$
Equipments 80$
Food, "anti-freeze liquids" (for internal use), Tax-free shop in ship etc. 200$

Joke which is hard to translate to english:
(Octopus has tentacles and tentacle is also nickname for Finnish long-drink which contains grape-juice and Gin, ie "Lonkero")
We went out to the sea in evening but somehow my friends did manage to tumble their boat next to pier and all equipments fall in to the sea. Next morning we went to the pier and friend looked to the sea and yelled us: "Guys come look at this; Here's an Octopus in the sea !"
We thought WTF and runned to the pier and what we saw in the bottom of the sea was dozen "Tentacles"

True, i told her i wouldnt mind doing that, but then i wouldnt have enough to go to school. My friend is a pilot so he takes me up every once in a while.
