Too many sigs
« on: April 21, 2000, 10:24:00 PM »
Guys,

The sig graphics are outta hand. They are too many, too big and slowing topic refresh to a crawl. Please consider using your pic only on special posts, not every reply of "oh yeah!"

I rarely see them anyway, as I just hit Stop if the topic bogs down. That means long topics never get seen. That's a shame.

Well, I spent most of my free time in the last 5 days making about 10 or so for my squad. I admit I would like to see them.

I would be happy to make one for you Brazos! What is your favorite plane?

Might make you feel better about them.

I don't know what all the fuss is about.  My 28.8 modem loads these pages just fine.  In fact, I sorta like being able to go out to the kitchen and get a bite to eat, water my lawn, use the bathroom, and come back in time to see the last few images loading.  The real problem is all those "This message edited by ....." messages due to the disabling of pics in sig files.  Can you imagine how much space we could save without those annoying little messages?
