Good job on releasing the patch.  Good work on getting the bugs fixed.

WTG on releasing it a few hours before the TOD making the SEA unusable for lots of people.

Thanks for the patch, HTC crew.

Yah, you're right

They should have just left those who were CTDing in the lurch until Monday.

They should have worked all weekend to insure that you'd be happy.

Jesus diddlying christ sometimes I wonder why people even play this game if they're so unhappy with it. I'm nowhere near the fanboi some are but from my point of view some of you must be retarded whiney childish salamanders in RL who are always used to getting their way.

I'm glad htc worked on debugging and releasing the patch as soon as possible.

I would say a few factors.  lack of sufficient bandwidth on that server. The same server host's the BBS and maybe HTC's website? And the fact that it is primetime peak internet usage in the USA

FFS it was 1.7MB!! hardly a huge download and you should thank yourself lucky as 'over there' I've seen them release patches of over 50MB in size literally hours before an event.

Should the majority wait till next week to solve their problems so that a few can play their scenario?

Possibly a contributing factor was the launching of so many from a small area. I really don't know how the net code works but it would seem logical that there would be significantly more data transferred when there are 50 planes in close proximity than when those same 50 planes are spread out. If that's the case then we may have to consider that when planning TOD's.

The SEA for the last couple of months has been warpy with 160 or more on. I'm REALLY Glad to see that the TOD has turned out to be so popular, but it does impact connect.

Any chance of getting a better pipe to the SEA?

We are discussing this in the CM forum now Ghosth.  I would love to say 'yes', but without talking it over with Hitech there is nothing we can do.  I dont know if they are willing to up the bandwidth in an arena that is only heavily used a couple of nights a week.  Maybe we can work out something where they up the bandwidth for the times that we are running events.  I will talk it over with HTC and see what we can do.  Bear with us guys....we are doing what we can.

I would just like a little thing called a url on the download page of HTC homepgae.
THATS ALL.
name a game that updates but dont update there webpage.
but you CANT play it with out the patch.
real nice.
and also your auto ingame updater sucks b*lls
Url ppl if this fregin' update IS only 1.3 megs it would take some one from the HTC team what? 15 mins to upload even on a 56k!
so what gives?

AND WHY WONT THIS MUTAH F*CKIN' INGAME UPDATER WORK!?
i click on yes..it pauses my mouse for a few seconds "maby 30" then it goes back..to the main screen..to goto the servers "your version is out date blah blah blah ckick yes to have nothing happen again!"
diddly me.
URL URL URL URL URL
mkaaay?

It may seme like im squeakin' but i am..and thats bull toejam cause i never "squeak" unless something is pissing me off..and haveing a kick bellybutton online flight sim that WONT WORK because it wont auto update and i cant find a url for THE patch 2..so im f*cked right?
thought so. tryed ther ingame updater like 7 times..nothing just does the same thing.
screw it.

BaD kaRmA, out.

Auto updater works.  Download is also available at the HTC site.
