i'd imagine its not that we NEED to have the whole 512x512 as a populated area filled with bases.  Much like mindanao, perhaps we will see a map or two similar with ALOT of water area and a reduced playing field.

I'd hope the # of bases is not mandatory...

So this is how one gets to over 1300 posts...by blowing hot air out their rear, any time, any way, any how. Add some signal, rather than just more noise sometime.

Hey, it's just a joke. Aren't I funny.

I put in my fair sahre of time on AH, and will need plenty more to fully digest the current map.  The varied terrain in the Pizza is awesome, and opens whole new stratagies and game play.  Once I get a consistent grasp on on the new bomb setup, I am going to appreciate those 9 & 12k airports all the more.  There's no rush for a new map on my account.

Not trying to be critical here, but you're more likely to get a response to a direct question if you send it to: questions@hitechcreations.com

HiTech posted in another thread that he was looking at a way to better accomodate smaller numbers. I think he mentioned looking at the possibility of disabling certain fields at certain times.

If you're thinking of creating a terrain then you really should find out what HiTech wants as he seems to pretty much keep his own counsel (or at least within his organization) as to what's best for the game.

I was hoping to avoid that Iron, largely because I figured this was probably something a good chunk of the community would be interested in hearing. Its certainly the single-most talked about issue surrounding 1.10. An "official" position from HTC might not be a bad thing right about now.

I'm sure folks will rally around whatever that decision is. I think many are just curious _what_ that decision is going to be at this point.

Vortex, they do answer selected questions publicly in the Q&A forum. You can bet that even more are likely to read those threads than all the threads in the General Discussion forum. Only a suggestion. :)

I found that the 256x256 mile maps were way, way too crowded.  I'd stopped logging on because it wasn't fun to fight against so many enemies and as a Rook I was out numbered 19 times out of 20.

This new map is a bit too big and definately too high, buts its worlds better than the old maps.

Heh, not really. You've got to say something noteworthy, or even creative, before I'm going to take much notice. *smooch*
