the flaps/rockets/bomb etc can be used in any aircraft but the gear has to be timed perfectly with individual aircraft to be believable since each aircraft is different,
the gear sound is edited for the p-38 (which in AH has an unrealisticly short and incorrect retraction time and sequence
) they know about this though and are gonna fix it one day when they have a chance
when they do I'm gonna make a new sound where you hear the nose gear thump first then the mains thump
I just use the microsoft sound recorder that comes with windows. it aint fancy but it does the job
