My Sqyaddie, Slapshot has the schematics for it. He has them down so the entire piece can be made from 2 4ft by 4ft sheets of 5/8" thick plywood. ( I bought double sanded to save time)

Slapshot also has the plans in both Metric, and...uh...English Measurements. The wood cost $25 a sheet (You can go cheaper for alower grade). Then there is foam, Seat covering, Paint, and Contact paper. All told, The job cost me $125, but knowing what I know now, I can do it for $75-100.

I'm not thrilled with the plans, though. The piece was designed to be portable, and uses no screws. I changed mine, as I don't carry it around, and wanted a sleeker look.

As for the "No Step" Question...thats for my 2 year old daughter, who can't read. Makes alot of sense, huh?

i made one of these 2 years ago. but 2 things a) i always felt silly when women came over. my girlfriend used to make fun of me, especially if she came in while i had the headset on and was talking to those jokers the assassins. b) when i moved it was too big a pain to bring with me.

was pretty cool tho.

I finished mine up Saturday. "Rising Sun", all white with red meatballs, and red upholstered seat. My son is enjoying it immensely and egonomically, its very nice on my arthritic shoulder. My wife thinks we're crazy, but hey, we're boys!

Soon as my USB cable for my camera gets here, I'll get some shots up.

Bigger plans? This thing fits my 6' 200lb. body just fine, matter of fact, it could easily fit a 300 lber.

I just took the CM's and went to a web translater, and changed them from CM to inches. took about 15 min.

To save you some time of adding it all up, you'll need 2 sheets of 4 X 8 -- 5/8" plywood.
