Rest assured, deSelys, it's just a place holder until I get a few bills paid off;).

Interesting design, but what's the number pad to the right of the keyboard?

Headset phone.  A lot of Buccaneers live locally, so we often set up a round-robin voice net using three-way calling for static-free comms.  Plus, I don't have to get out of my chair to answer the phone.  Now if I could just talk my wife into a small refrigerator to place right beside this thing, I'd never have to get up.

Even so... I'd have used photoshop or something to blank out the whole tower and hide it.

Compaq sucks (I speak from experience)

You really need to get a set of surround speakers for that thing.   Put the subwoofer behind your seat and FEEL it.  ;)  Not to mention positional sounds are cool.  :)

How do you know it doesn't have such provisions:D.

Don't have surround-sound support available.  However, if you look carefully, there is a subwoofer behind and under the seat, set in at an angle to allow easy access to the volume control.  Feel the power!
