Loire Nieuport LN-401 - when i 1st saw this on i thought it was so odd i had to post it as a 'guess this', but then i figured it was well know for the same reason.
according to the internet "Carrier-borne dive bomber. The LN 40 was a bulky monoplane with an inverted gull wing. The type was unpopular with the military, and only about 72 built. Hastily thrown into action, they suffered heavy losses in 1940. Development of the LN 420 continued after 1945"
anyone know anything else about it?
i got an idea, lets see how many inverted gull wing WWII era A/C we can name:
F4-U
He 112
LN 420
thats as good as i can do
