Taking off would be easy enough, landing is a different story.

I've looked at clouds from both sides now, from up and down and still some how, I wonder why I can see nothing but plane dots and icons.  If I fly into a cloud, I should see nothing, and no one should see me.  Should gbe a more cat and mouse hide and seek game with clouds.

Boy the first part of that would make a good song, but then it falls flat.:)

Only without ILS, MLS, or even precision approach radar.

Well, there were two 'value added' reasons that sold me on AH (again).....

1. Weather
2. Perked 262

And..... I just blew my 1 and only 200 perks.....

I am very disapointed that the new map has no weather or clouds. I LOVE clouds. In real life too.

The best flying experience I've had yet was when I was on a dual flight....

Beautiful patchwork of fields and greenery... broken cloud layer at 1500 feet..... flying between 2/3K.... another layer at 3000 feet....

Picked out a hole in the layer above... pulled vertical...zoomed upwards... punched through the hole and bunted over -'g at the top.... then back down through.

I want my AH clouds back.

Yeah, except they didn't land 0-0 back then. In fact, they rarely do it now.

Iron.. FWIW.. cloulds SHOULD be well above 13k for realism.

This pic is the kind of thing I was thinking about:

the mountain tops are at or above 14k.  We rarely have 'low' clounds.. I.E. fog.  This is a typical afternoon here.

I wasnt suggesting landing at socked in bases. I was saying
it would be real to have them.

w-w-rong........w-w-rong..........w-w-rong........

Cloudes can either be built into the map, or they can be placed into the terrain Dir

I agree, I like clouds too. Not sure why we left them out or why HTC didn't put them in, just speculating.
