A "What If" Map....
« on: July 17, 2002, 12:51:33 PM »
Do you ever wonder what would have happened if the allies would have taken Patton's advice, and after conquering Germany, went on to fight the Russians?

Or what if the CV's were at anchor at Pearl, and the Japanese followed up their attack with an attack and invasion of the US West Coast?

Would these make good maps for the MA? I guess you'd need a 3rd country, so lets say in the first scenario, Allies Vs. Germany Vs. Russia.

Second Scenario, uhhhh....Canada Gets Pissed off and takes on the US and Japan!

Where can I get a map editor? I love my own ideas!!!:D

hehe...just download it from the HTC website, Muck.  By the way, I've got the US/Brit vs. Soviet set up in the can for the CT, sometime in the not to distant future.  Only problem is the lack of a suitable terrain.

Better yet: Canada vs USA vs Mexico.

Download the Terrain Editor, then download the Mapmaker utility, and then download the map of North America from the US gov't site.

I've d/led the Terrain Editor but haven't gotten very far with the tutorial.

And if Mexico wins, we have to give Texas back.

And they get to rename all the cities!

You know what I hate about AH?

Every time I think I've got a great idea, someone else has already been there, done that.

God I hate being mediocre!

Canadians don't get pissed off...we just pick you off from 2.5 KM out with our superior sniper skills....

Or we cut off the beer supply....either one works.

!

And they can rename San Antonio and Amarillo to something in spanish.

And don't take the Canadians lightly, they have amassed 90% of their army within 100 miles of the US border.

I'd like to see an AH map of San Francisco bay w, a bunch of city objects filling in for the town.  The attacking force would be a pantsload of CVs.  The only real custom object needed for this would be a Golden Gate bridge.

Done properly, this could be a great MA arena too, just figure out how to make the three country setup work.
