Tumor, in my free trial it took me a week to figure out all the controls and what was going on. Also, in H2H your right, just about the only thing that is similar to the MA is the planes, nothing else.

My Idea: Every two months (differing for people so the MA does not have 600 people in it for one week and then the normal for 7) people's trial should be renewed. Person A's account on 6/21, 8/21, etc Person B's on 7/3, 9/3, etc. Two weeks is a pretty long time so I think it should be one week to keep the bandwidth problems under control.
My $.02

I was kinda thinking this too Curly... maybe 1 week after a release would help in the download aspect.

And I understand that HTC is relocating their servers to help with connection/bandwidth.  Something about Missouri.

I also believe that its HTC's goal to get 1000 player arenas set up.  If they are going to do it... they need ways to get more people in the door.

But ya get the boot if you shoot down the guy runing the H2H area you are in.  Has happened to me the last two time I've been in there.

Pilot:  "Who shot me down?"

Me: "I did"

BOOT

Darn guys who host some of the H2H areas do not like being shot down!

Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

While I have nothing against it as a player, is $15 too much to try out one month online? Having played since 1.03, I still prefer a good HtH room to the MA any day :p I only go there when I can't find any fun in HtH or CT. The original 2 weeks plus later HtH should be adequate for most people to make a good decision. For those that need more... only $15 :D

I quite simply dont understand this thread.... and also threads of this topic on other boards.

I gave AH a second Online look and I liked what I saw and am now an AH paying customer.

P.S. You NEED to go online to discover all the cool stuff. Offline does not leave a good impression.

I've heard from lots of people saying that they hadn't tried AH in over a year, sometimes two. Those are the people that need some incentive to come back and subscribe. It's too easy for them to shrug off AH only because they haven't had the chance to try it in it's present state.

Couldn't hurt...more seals anyhow

How many of you guys will claim to NOT have a boxed game thats just setting on a shelf.  That you paid over 15 bucks for. Gemme a brake.

You may have a point about H2H though.  There should be no options for basic settings. No outside views, unlimited ammo, lethality adjustments, that sort of thing. That might help give newbies a better "feel" for the real game.
