A map of Tobrok, that is Libya and western Egypt, would be fun as well.

that would be great Nuttz

Ben the battle of the bulge wasnt much of a tank battle :)

But there were panzers involved .

If you ever see the move you may here the panzer crews singing

 Panzerlied

heres sing along will you read up on your history

(fyi something happed during this battle that involved the word "Nuts" :))

Quote
If there's storm or it snows,
Or the sun smiles on us,
The day is burning hot,
Or the night icy cold.
Dusty are the faces,
But joyful is our mind,
Joyful our mind;
Our tank roars ahead
Within the storm wind.

When a hostile tank
appears ahead of us,
Full throttle is given
And we close with the foe!
It's not our life we value,
For the army of our realm,
Army of our realm
For Germany to die
Is honor most high.

And if we are abandoned
By that unfaithful luck,
And if we don't return
To our homeland again,
If a bullet strikes us down,
If our fate calls on us,
Yes calls on us,
Then our tank will give us
A metal grave

With thundering engines,
Fast as a lightning bolt,
The enemy engaging,
Within our armor plates.
Ahead of our comrades,
In the battle, all alone,
We stand all alone
That's how we strike deep
Into the enemy's ranks.

With obstacles and tanks
The foe blocks our path,
We laugh about it
And simply pass them by.
And if ahead guns threaten,
Hidden in the yellow sand,
In the yellow sand,
We seek out our way,
That no one else found.

Ahem!  The "Europe" terrain is 1:1 scaled and includes the Ardennes area (where the "Battle of the Bulge" was fought) as a very SMALL part of it . It's in that same general area that the Germans pushed through Belgium and on into France in 1940.
With teh size of terrains possibel with 1.11 one could makeover the Europe terrain to have lots more airfields and GV spawn points and refight just about almost the entire war in the West (excluding Norway) using just the ONE terrain - from 1940 to the end of 1944,  certainly.  Including a possible "Operation Sealion" - the German plan for the invasion of Britain. So no need to make a teeny weeny terrain just for the Battle of the Bulge...

It would indeed be nice to see some other 1:1 terrains, my list would include the following:
- Poland
- Hungary
- The Baltic States to Leningrad
- Finland
- Minsk-Kiev
- Minsk-Moscow
- Kiev-Crimea
- Stalingrad
- Greece
- Italy
- 3 covering N Africa from Tunisia to Alexandria in Egypt

With good design and some tweaking of the strat/supply system, the N Africa terrains could really bring to life the supply problems of the N Africa campaign. GVs trying to outflank the enemy in the desert, but risking running out of fuel... transport planes and trucks racing to try to bring supplies forward. (Methinks you'd have to have no AI supply convoys at all to make this work well).

I'd also like to see a Spain terrain, and planes suitable for the Spanish Civil War. The Ju52-3m would be a great addition; in the Spanish Civil War it was used as a bomber, whilst in WW2 it was mostly used as a transport, of course. The I16 Mosca was the mainstay not only of the Republican fighter forces, but also of the Soviet Union in the early stages of WW2, and fought LW He51s and early Bf109s (B's and C's IIRC). The Heinkel 111 also first entered combat ion this conflict, and was still being used at teh end of WW2.  A couple of Italian bombers and some Italian open-cockpit fighters (preferably Fiat CR42 and Fiat G50?) are a MUST so we can redo Malta properly...

- and we need Sherman and T34 tanks,  too...  :-)

But aye, the more terrains the merrier, and for preference, large 1:1 terrains. I'd even settle for a decent set of half sized terrains, but no smaller than that, please!

If people like BenDover and other H2H mapmakers create maps that you use in the CT, why don't they get a free month of MA play or something free? Instead of people just taking there maps and giving them a pat on the back?
