Thanks, I wouldn't have seen this if you hadn't posted it here =)

I just installed Linux on a larger hard drive (friday nite) and this was a timely reminder to try out WineX.

Boyz, I was wondering if Linux would run with AH and i "RAN A SEARCH" and didn't look at the thread or topic.

Another thing that might be actually productive.....
reply like the ones form animal would make the posting smaller and faster to read :)

I think im going to go with turboton this one.

Other than running a server, linux is pretty much useless for home use, especailly for gaming.

I guess some people feel like they are a l337 hax0r or something by using it.

That or they are still using win98 and havent eXPerienced XP yet, which pretty much makes linux only good for what Ive stated.

Can you get saitek sticks to work under linux? I have a linux friend that woyuld play AH if he could get it to work properly.

With the recent joystick support I added to wineX, many Saitek sticks will work, with POV hats and all.
The trick to getting it to work is just getting the name of the stick, the number of axis, hats, etc. Let him try it, and if it doesn't work, contact me with the joystick info and I'll add the support.
