Author Topic: Extremely bad luck or bug ? (Read 213 times)

I've only had 2 lock up in AH while in flight. Both were while flying the Me-262. For the last 4 months I've been hording my perk points waiting till I would be on a broadband. So last night I was at a friends house flying on his cable. Decided what the heck lets fly the Me-262. and guess what.... 10 mins into flight , about to make my merge my system locks up!. Now I'm wondering could there be an issue with the Mitsu soundpack that coud be causing this or some graphics issue with the me-262. Or am I the victim of a very evil Hitech Easter egg.

...however, I think it may, unfortunately, be Mistus' sounds. I reinstalled AH with thier base sounds on Friday. Haven't locked up or CTD'd yet. Granted, the reinstall may have "fixed" whatever the problem was, but as someone noted in another post, I noticed alot of my lockups were sound related. I even changed sounds cards thinking that was the culprit.

Im getting more and more lockups since 1.10 (never used to lock up)....sucks really.

Only lockups I have had were near buff formations, and after they were going down. Guess I have been pretty lucky so far. Been hearing about a lot of folks experiencing these since 1.10 came out.........

I don't have Mitsu's sounds, but am experiencing lockups. It's happened in Akpizza, ndisles, and the TA. Hard lock of the computer requiring reset. Usually, the lockup will include a short sound loop. Is this the same kind of lockup everyone else is experiencing?

It isn't related to Mitsu's or anone elses sound packs. I have the "stock" sounds that come with the game and get constant recurring locks, freezes and discos. It is most definately related to the 1.10 version and quite a few of us have the problem. Join the threads in the bug board and post specs on your system so HTC can get a handle on this ASAP.

I've only had 1 hard lockup...ever. It occured after I hammered a buff formation with 109G10 & gun packs. They went down, I froze solid-had to kill the power to get the box back.

I've had 4-5 CTD's, no discernable pattern to them tho'.

Oh, and I have a bone stock AH install-no aftermarket sounds etc.

Hard lock ups with sound loop. In flight or just taking off.
