Has started to become a problem in the MA IMO. 28Sweeps single letter chest thumping combined with the GRIN-INININ-INININ crap from members of the OL*** is all getting rather old and is taking the enjoyment out of monitoring Ch.1.

IMO, it's time for HTC to either give us a perminate squelch list OR come out and define their policy regarding spamming Ch.1 and have their undercover game ops enforce such policy.

Squelching Ch. 1 is NOT the answer BTW, why restrict the friendly banter between countries because of a few AW RR macro dweebs?

Yup...some of that crap on CH1 gets really tiresome. Seems to have really kicked in once AW went tits up but I figure "who the hell am I to complain"...

I'll find myself squelching 1 because of irrelavent ranting. I'll salute Rude and Ripsnort, they'll always salute me back (good sticks) and squelch it eventually. I hate doing it, but the whining gets old.

I agree MrLars...the friendly banter between countries is what I've found different from other games. I like the abilty to ~~someone who has superior skills and has just schooled me.~~

AW RR macro dweebs,,,,HAHAHA, you got the right, i've heard people ask how to set a macro, of course some use the squad name to make a kill macro but you only see it when they land 2 or more kills

I like to keep ch. 1 active to ~~opponents, and general good natured bantering with the "enema"...but sometimes its out of control...so if I don't ~~you back, then you know I have it squelched.~~~~

With the exception of a few cons (those would be Knight and Bish). You know when you're in deep, and regardless of the outcome you salute the con. BUT, when I get snubbed, I get pissed and usually type a one finger salute of sorts. People may think it is petty to get angry at something like this, but I don't. I ALWAYS back and go into a little detail about what just transpired. I've done this with several sticks, Ripsnort, Sachs (I was the 109 you were scissoring WIDE on to try and stay behind me. I was inverted, staying aloft at 60 knots, you finally got me), Snorkel ,I was being a smart bellybutton with you kinda were pissed at me (don't worry), the following day, boom, patched up) and many others.

When I sign on it is the following routine, Squad , Country and then a "Con " out of sheer respect.

I just despise people thinking their toejam don't stink.

Taunting in a good natured manner is one thing, but lately I've been seeing more and more pretty harsh stuff.
I squelch whoever is spouting the offensive stuff, that way I can still everyone who shoots me down.
If it is several people mouthing at one another, first I squelch each individual person. If that don't work, then I squelch the whole channel.

bastage was bogging down the text buffer with all his crap.
i squelched himafter about 5 min of that but still saw the text lag most of the night. i heard a few others mention he was still doing it after about 30 min of people b@#$% at him. something needs to be done about that IMHO.
