HiTech told me that the frequent switching to TCP is a result of elliminating invisible planes. In 2 months of playing everyday before v10 I was never annoyed by an invisible plane. Switching to TCP every session really sucks. I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing it were the way it was before v10.
Maybe it's just the loudmouth whiner score-potatos who complain about the occasional unseen plane. Maybe they use it as an excuse for why they got shot...who knows. I do know that many of us are very bummed by the slowing of our connections that comes with TCP. I'd rather an occasional, isolated inviso-plane than switching to TCP in mid-flight and being left with the choice of playing with a slower connect or re-logging.
Hoping I don't lose my favorite pass-time to TCP.
