Kind of looks like the Type 92 machine gun from the rear turret panel of a Japanese Type 89 Yi-Go (Chi-Ro) tank, but the armor plate it's mounted on looks wrong.

Looks like the Czech ZB53 (vz/37), or perhaps the British built Besa version used on early war Brit tanks.

The BAR's I have used, and the one I own all work fine, just take care of them.
