Haven't played it yet, but reading some of what others have said on the DoD random nonsense board it doesnt sound promising.  The new planes are supposedly so basic that W controls your speed.   and have fun.

Everyone at the LAN meet, again, just loved it.

They went on to play 'Sum of All Fears' for 5 solid hours, but still...

Not a 1 could play AH, weird.

I dont get what this is... i have downloaded the demo 2 days ago but is this thing a add on or is it something different?

So far the demo i have only has the nazi's attacking and you have to hold the forts down in the sand.

Are there 2 different demo's out?

This is a completely different demo.  This is wake island where the japanese are attacking the US From their carriers.  Just unzip to your desktop or whatever and then run the .exe.  You can delete the other demo if you want.

New demo with a new map and beta files to allow planw flying.....not that hard.

i cant get my joystick set in to fly the planes... i hate using keys to fly!

its not very realistic but it fun as hell and would make a great multiplayer game!

i plan on buying it when its out, i know its an EA product but it seems fun to play.

...goes to check out when BF1942 comes out.

I got my joystick setup to fly, but the throttle wont work to control go/stop because for some weird reason when you re-assign walk/stop they change to the same thing when you click save...anyways.  Just do it like you're re-assigning a key and move your joystick the appropriate way.  The FM still sucks but it's a bit easier to fly w/ your joystick.
