Lazs is SO nice! I like him a LOT!

Oops - this is Nimitz posting under Wab's account.

I had the opportunity and pleasure of chatting with Laz on a couple of occasions. I find him to be a really interesting person. He also has some hobbies I always wished I could have, for example: An Austin Healy 100/4 with a small block 327 shoehorned in it :).

The guy is genuine in my opinion, and even if he and I find different things to enjoy in AH I certainly did not see where what he wanted was unreasonable.

Take it from me, he is a cool dude.

thanks guys.. kieran.. I think they meant that I was exactly the same in person as I am on the board..  It is hard for teachers to understand the joke I think.

I was really looking forward to meeting all the guys that I have had these friendly BB conversations with and was not disapointed.   I enjoyed myself immensly and everyone was just as interesting as I had expected.   I wish that I had more time so that I could have monpopolized even more discussions while I was there.   I wasn't the brightest but I was the loudest.   Rude was particularly easy to shout over as were most of the tas guys.  Even the AK's seem very lifelike in person and ghosth and mark were pleasantly hostile at first.

All in all..... a blast... If you missed it then.... well, you may as well just stay in your house and fly fluffs.

I'm sick of missing all the cons. Taking a 10 hour drive to Texas is too gay though. I'll try to be there next year guys (I've said that for 3 years)

I was able to meet Lazs twice for just a brief second or two but no real opportunity to have a conversation.  The first time when I'd just rolled in and still had my luggage and was overwhelmed meeting all the dogs who he was chatting with.  The second time he quickly introduced himself on the elevator before he exited on the 2nd floor.  He seemed a friendly person to me.  No fangs or bloody claws or anything like that.  I regret I didn't get the chance to ask him how he is able to do so well in the F4U-1 since that has become my bird of choice.

Anyone putting a small block chevy in a Healey should be shot...

Abarth or Stebro exhaust from a six cylinder Healey is a sound that a chevy will NEVER make.

Put it in a Triumph or an MG, MG ain't good for much else..or the later Triumphs..

Put that six back in her lazs..

Chevy in a Healey

MY GOD MAN..
