How about while in flight Click on clipboard during calibration to set a Waypoint< At same time as setting target alt>. Thats what navigators did right? Just draw a line on map and call headings?.
You would have a line to follow to target, while in zoom mode< During calibration it wouldnt be hard to follow the line> . Simply said, dunno about adding waypoints on the fly prolly hard to program. But since its FE only mabye not too hard.
