I flew tony quite a bit.. somewhere around 25-30 kills 2- 3 deaths

Wow... not a single comment on the fact that no aircraft accounted for more than 9% of the total fighter kills. I don't believe that has happened before.

And why is the 152 perked again? Shakes head at this one still. because it was produced in low numbers is all I can think of. At high alt it rocks but anything lower in the MA it is not the same as the other non perked rides. I think this one needs to be re-evaluated about its perkness.

Unless I am very mistaken, the last few tours have been the same. The Spitfire Mk IX (previous leader) did not account for 10% of the kills in the last few tours.

Not that this will change anything, people will still squeak about the Spit, La-7 and N1K2 while completely ignoring the P-51D.

You're mistaken Karnak. Last tour both the N1K2 and Spit IX were over 10% for fighter kills. Tour 29.

This is the first time one's been lower than 10%... hell... its lower than 9%.

Karnak, sure the Spit has. I just changed the link to "29"'s to view the last tour and Spit and N1K are both at 10%. And that's just one variant of Spit. Add up all the variants to each aircraft type and the Spits are stomping on everyone else in terms of total kills...I think hovering near 20% of the kills. Spits are a plague.

while the p51d got the most kills, it's pretty average on the kill ratio .. nice ... and p51b have a better kill ratio

Nice dodge Epsilon 5.

The Spit has always been very average on K/D as well, yet it gets soundly damned while the P-51D gets off free. From my perspective, based on the aircraft I like to fly, the P-51 is far, far more annoying than the Spitfire could ever be.

Tour 29:

All planes have 420800 kills and have been killed 420800 times.

The Spitfire Mk IX has 29374 kills and has been killed 29811 times.

That is 7.084% of the kills in Tour 29. Far below 10%.

Karnak... you are taking totals into account.

That's not what most people percieve as the issue. When they "see" an aircraft too much... its as a fighter. Nobody really cares how much someothing attacks GVs or Bombers.

Like I said (in both posts)... this is the first time no fighter has had more than 10% of all fighter kills.

Fighter V Fighter is really the only one that counts for me... but that's just me. I don't care how many goons any plane killed..... it doesn't mean much.
