I think that this post is from about 70% od 308`th - don`t know how it looks for othere player`s.

From 10.0 - we have strange connection problems.

1) loosing UDP - switching to TCP/IP - conection lost.

2) loosing UDP - Switching to TCP/IP - crash top desktop

As far as i know we didn`t have problems like that before.

1,5 year ago i had beter connecion on dialup modem....

 - alt. route doesn`t help.

I don`t have idea what it can be.

System
Abit  mothere board BG7 i845G S-478 with P4A 2GHz.
512 MB RAM (DDR)
HDD - 80 GB Seagate Barracuda
HDD - 40 GB Seagate Barracuda
HDD - 20 GB IBM 7200 RPM
Graphic : PROLINK GeForce 4 MX440 128MB

Conection:
Modem: Nortel Cornerstone CM 200
512/256 DSL.

I have this constantly since 1.10.

6 months ago i have much better connection then now
was connected to host in 3-6 sec, now 16-18s to establish connection.
Ping was worse /400-440/, but connection stable , without warps
After update to 1.09 starts problems, have couple CTD and ping stay on same lvl but establish connection increse to 8-12 s

month by month connect going worse:(

now after a minute or couple minuts lost UDP /thats start after 1.10 update/
way loks like this
1. lost UDP swich to TCP
2. Host lost connection
3 discoed my modem from telephone line

System

My pings are great, around 60 to 90 ms usually.  But this UDP lost thing keeps discoing me.

I read elsewhere that we need to open a bunch of inbound ports.  Depending on who you ask it's 2000 to 3100 or 1900 to 4000 or various other numbers.  In any case my DSL gateway only allows me to open 64 inbound ports , so I can't comply.

Hopefully I'm wrong or there will be an improvement in the next patch of AH.  For now it seems I'm grounded.
