So, if I say that all Masai are better at high jump than the Pygmies, purely because of differances between the two genetically, one being nearer two metres than one tall, the other lucky to reach 1m........I'm being rascist?
Well shoot....colour me rascist, becuase I truely believe that statement about high jumping.
I dont believe that 'rascism' is truely just believing that differant races are capable of differant things to differant degrees, more the belief that any one race has more or less right to exist than any other.
The Australian Aborigines make great sprinters and runners, but you dont see a whole hell of a lot of them in swimming championships....why is that?
Ever seen a Samoan ballet dancer?
A Kiwi thats good for anything? ;-)
White Super Heavy weight boxing champions? granted, they are about, but they aren't a majority.
Show me a race of people better at making fiddly electronic gadgetry than the Japanese, maybe that has more to do with circumstance than genetics, but you get the picture, I'm sure.
So, am I rascist because I believe we are all differant, and some races are better at some things than others?
Or am I not, because i believe that we all have an equal right to existance, regardless of race, colour or creed?
The rights of people in countries other than that of their birth is a differant matter alltogether , in my opinion, regardless of how or why they came to be there, which, I guess, could be taken to be a rascist thing to say, but really is about place of origin, not race.
