That page is a take off of the magazine adds website (special URL to track the adds effectivness). Sure it looks neat, but it makes noise and wont shut up with the escape key (big NO NO for me) and it will not allow you to use the BACK button on your browser (ANOTHER HUGE NO NO in friendly web design)

Yes its all "Kewl and stuff"
But at a minimum, I would like to see a button to shut it the hell up, and allow normal web surfing. I do not take kindly to webpages that take control of my browser like that, and in all honesty, I may have actually missed out on AH if that page were my 1st experience.

Geez...you can create a new bookmark once you get past it to the old page. What's the big deal? It's meant for first timers and probably means they can find things easier.

my keybord has a mute button on it ,why dosn't yours?
the music's not bad , very dramatic,it should have a longer loop
but the theme i really liked was on one of the AW CD's, showed B17's and P51's and the theme music was great

they should be fixing the lag issues before working on some new fancy web page. What are they trying to get more customers? as if the servers werent' bogged down enough.

Last time I looked the new page development had no bearing on playability of the game. CTD's are still there, lag is increasing and screen freezes now showing up with the ctd on my system. But hey, they got a kick but web page............

Web page looks good, grabs the eye better than the main page.

You guys ever stop to think that maybe attracting more customers would allow HTC to provide even better service? I think you should visit some other MMPOGs and to put this into perspective.

I think it makes the game look more of an arcade game than combat sim. Perhaps a few seconds of actual game scenes with some jargon thrown in would be better.
