You guys wouldn't likely share my belief that the Jug is the prettiest plane in AH now would you?

I didn't think so.

Hell, we need the CHog and the N1K2 for the new players. What else can they do? They have to get a chance to get some kills. Give them time, and they will get into the groove and fly better planes. I started out in the Chog myself, but wouldn't be caught dead in one now. Moved on, to the P-51D (wow, flaming I will get for this single line).

The three planes I recommend to new players are: CHog, N1K2, Spitfire MkIX. Reasons include good firepower, ammo loads, turning ability and/or durability and speed.

Bah, spooky, I remember the days when you got a casette tape with the games as voice overs.

One of my first sims was chuck yeagers advanced flight trainer on the C64. And it came with a casette with instructions on how to fly an airplane (by Chuck Yeager, appropriately).

n1k2 is forgiving and allows the player to make mistakes and win.
f4u1c firepower allows the player to overcome ACM mistakes they may have made and win.

Heh.. now we have to convince HTC to give you 100 of my perk points (you can only take fighter.. I don't have 100 perk points in any other category...)

TY Hooli for that wisdom. It is so simple, and understandable. And why its even an issue with cit, karnak, etc.. I have no idea.

Somebody needs to re-do this thread with a Andy Rooney voice-over...

Frankly; I don't give a damn WHAT the other guy flies, what he wears, what he drinks, who (or what) he screws, where he went to school, who he knows or which moron he voted for in the last election.

Yah pays yer money, yah takes yer chance. If it's red, it needs ta be dead. The rest is just noise.

The P-47D-30 IS the finest looking AC in AH.

Don't feel bad.  He's had ALOT more practice than you.  He's gotten efficient.

f4Uc and niki flyers get no respect because they are easier to kill with.

all i want to see is less of them.A greater variety of targets.

I've taken to flying the P38 lately. The reason. Its an easymode plane. Elevator is the only trim needed. Don't have to touch the 'rons, or rudder trim. Forward view is generous to a fault.
