Offline Questions....
« on: February 16, 2001, 12:27:00 PM »
1) Is it possiable to airlunch off line? If so how?

2) Are the only drones the ones that fly around the fields in a circle and are they always on the same side as you even if the field is not?

Thanks...

1.  No.  The best you can do is pick the rear field on the main island that is at about 6k on the runway.  Bishop 16 on the current terrain is one of these fields.

2.  Yes, those are the only offline drones.  As for their country affiliation, I don't know.  It doesn't really matter, since the offline drones are just placeholders to shoot at.  The only difference would be the color of their icons.

If you have any other questions, you can post them in the Help and Training forum, or email me at sconrad@hfx.eastlink.ca

1. If your looking to get some altitude fast, type

.wind 0 0 0 127

in the radio buffer. That gives you a 127mph updraft, effectively adding 11,000ft/min to your climb rate.

Thanks guys.

I'm going to try that 127 MPH headwind idea. (Of couse if I get mixed up and head downwind it'll be pretty messy
