Been very slow here since the major lay-offs began, on 9/17/2001.

Wasting time? (shrugs) yeah, I guess, but my work is getting done, what little of it is left and hasn't been offloaded to "$10-a-day"  India.

I'm testing my Perl script that patches, compiles and installs a new Kernel so the customer can use a 2nd generation MSA1000 with Linux, then compile and install the drivers for the qLogic Fibre card in one step instead of having to do it all by hand. Soooo i got time :D

I am at work.... lets see.

I answer web posts like this for a living so I flip back and forth from here to my work page....

I also have LOTR on DVD playing on a 20 inch monitor and about 30 dvds in my drawer.

I have 4 computer systems.

I have my laptop setup and am working on my book on that, 395 pages of the first draft done!

The only bad thing is taking the upset customer calls..... like when one of my techs says "If you were an engineer,  you would know to not have anything running when you install software" :D
