Ki-43-III is much better than Ki-43-II.
A lot of Japanese Hayabusa pilots loved it too.

Ki-43-II:
Max Speed - 515km/h (6,000m)
Climb Time - 5'49" to 5,000m
Range - 1,620km (normal) 3,000km (+DT)

Ki-43-III:
Max Speed - 555km/h (6,100m)
Climb Time - 5'19" to 5,000m
Range - 2,120km (normal) 3,200km (+DT)

BTW japanese planes list is nice, i hope to see them in AH someday. ;)

Mitsu,

I thought about the Ki-43-III, but decided that the Ki-44 and Ki-84 covered late war adequately.  I thought the Ki-43-II would be better for early war scenarios.

Ki-43's position is the same as A6M.
HTC released A6M5b first, so Ki-43-III should be released first too.

Actually I was thinking I forgot the Mosquito NF.Mk XXX.

I don't know what use a Lysander or Storch would have in AH.

"I don't know what use a Lysander or Storch would have in AH."

Why, for dropping Spies/Spec Ops in enemy countries of course !

Hmm, let's see, if a Lysander could drop off a spy/OSS agent  armed with a bomb that could be used to blow up targets like a field Radar.....of course the spy/spec op would have to have his icon "cloaked" for some set period of time, like 30 mins.

;)

Bring the OSS to Aces High !

I've been thinking I wanted the P-47M......
« Reply #10 on: August 29, 2002, 01:09:36 AM »
But after reading some of the flight analysis from the "N", I think that would be just as good.......more range, better roll than any of the "D" models, within 5mph of the "M" top speed......
Would be like a big, swollen up, superfast Pony, with more guns........hehehe!
But wait......
If HTC makes it like the "D"'s we have, i.e. slow to climb, slow to dive, what's the point?

You forgot the Westland Whirlwind.

The limitations and conditions in RL which foreshortend it's carreer wouldn't apply to AH; and I believe it would make a killer MA ride.

How about the P51-C Razorback? This version also has some heavy historical significance, IMO

Gotta have the right markings, though!

It was the first pony the Tuskegee Airmen were given when reassigned from A2G to fighter escort.
