I don't get it... why would someone pay $92,000 for a station wagon?  Do you really need to go 160 with  your kids in the car?

It seems to be a car without a market.  I'm quite curious as to how the market will accept it.

BTW... While not losing respect for Porsche, I do believe this is a bad mark on their reputation.

Craptacular. So, you're grinding through a midlife crisis -- how the hell are you going to score some 19-year-old receptionist in that dammed thing! Of course, it will look good parked next to my Ferrari pickup.

What the hell is the matter with you guys? I'll bet these things sell like hotcakes to that busy little Yuppie Mommy who is trying to get her daughter to gymnastics lessons while at the same time dropping off her son at his soccer game...not to mention picking up Yuppie Daddy's drycleaning on the way home. 160 mph just doesn't cut it nowadays, guys. Busy busy busy...

You've got a point Elfenwolf, no trophy wife should be without one. Of course you buy the mistress a nice Boxer.

Charon, it's the ex-wife who gets the Porsche SUV, the trophy wife gets the Carerra and the mistress gets the Boxter- or if she's really young and you met her at a Denny's she might be happy with a Ford Echo. One can dream, eh?

After watching a guy get serviced while driving home on the freeway last Friday....I'll take his Lexus and his mistress.

When he looked over and smiled, I had to give him a S!

i think it should be pointed out she was not servicing the lexus.

..begs the question:  if you happened to get a picture of her servicing the lexus... would it be porn?

On target as usual Elfenwolf. You can tell how far away I am from having either a trophy wife or mistress. I did let the wife buy her own Hundai Santa Fe though :)

One of the local Porsche dealerships in Dallas has 80 people that have placed deposits for the new Porsche wagon/SUV!!

The Audi RS6 Avant is finally coming to the US this year with a sticker price close to $90K and it's a 400+hp twin turbo beast!
