A couple of quick thoughts came to mind, in no particular order:
(a) Paris to Dakkar International Rallye.
(b) Porsche is late to market on this one. BMW, Benz, Land Rover, Acura, and Lexus own the high-end SUV market, with the Toyota Land Cruiser, Infinity, Cadillac Escalade, and Ford E-something picking over the scraps. Maybe they'll sell 50,000 but that's an optimistic maybe.
(c) It'll be seen at the ALMS, IMSA, and SCCA race paddocks as support vehicles moreso than at the grocery store or elementary school.
(d) Porsche would've been better off competing against the Nissan Xterra. Its a bigger market segment.
