You can view your perk points in the hangar screen.
Some selected planes (at the moment: Ar234, Tempest, Ta152) require a certain amount (50-70) of perk points to fly. If you land safely, you will get your points back and your perk points "will not be charged".
You will get perk points as you get kills. The perk value of a kill depends on the enemy, or "ENY"-values of each plane. Shooting a 202 down in a F4U-1C will give you 0.20 perk points. But shooting down the F4U-1C in the 202 will get you 5 perk points!
The ENY-values of each plane/vehicle are visible in the hangar screen. The formula to calculate the perks is simple: just divide the ENY value of your plane with the ENY value of the plane you shot down.
In the above example, the ENY value of the F4U-1C is 10 and the 202's is 50. 50/10=5 and 10/50=0.20.
