2003 Ah Con
« on: August 31, 2002, 06:59:54 AM »
Hi there Fellow Aces High Jockeys...

My squadron, The USMC has an annual reunion every year. Next year (2003) it will be in Dayton, Ohio for the Anniversary of Powered Flight Airshow. The dates are July 17-20, 2003.

I was thinking this would be a PERFECT place for the ACES HIGH CONVENTION, 2003. Since Ohio is the actual birthplace of aviation in the United States, they are planning one hell of an airshow for this special anniversary.

Let me know what you guys think about talking Hi-Tech into having the AH CON in Dayton, Ohio and being able to attend this very special airshow while we're all there!

Hope we can a few people to support this idea for the con  :-)

Grim, I've been calling for an alternate place for the Cons since Warbirds days, it wasn't until my first con that I realized what kind of work goes into one of these by HiTech and company.  With their office nearby, and the all the hardware they bring, I now understand why it stays in Texas.  With such a small company (7 employees) and the services they render during a con, its tough to imagine they pull it off year after year at home, I cannot imagine them doing it 'on the road'

Best regards.
