I haven't played GR in a long time.  Currently, for FPS satisfaction, I have been killing Nazis in DoD.  I wish I could find my MoH cd, i like it better than DoD.

I am really waiting for Rainbow 6 3 to come out.

Well, it is done differently than in AA, because you can't see the weapon, but the reticle expands and contracts based on movement, position and firing, so yeah, recoil is there.

It's an awesome game - great for co-op multiplayer.

It's very different than Rogue Spear - don't lump it in.

Download the demo, and decide for yourself.

AO?

R6 3 has been delayed until March, 03 last I heard.  I downloaded the Save Libya mod for GR and am having a blast with it.

Hello Hobodog ..... :D

It was nice to see you on the SAF GR server the other night.

Thought you might be interested in a special events setup we're holding all of this weekend on one of our Ghost Recon servers.

We have set  up the new Free Libya! Campaign and AV Armory, plus installed all 12 of the player converted  "Red Storm" commercially designed (good frame rates) Sum of All Fears (SOAF) official game maps.

It's now  live on a server titled "|42nd| Badger's Invitational Server" at IP address 208.144.248.100.  It easily supports the full 36 players on our Dual OC3 connections and you'll also see it listed on ASE (All Seeing Eye).

In addition, each of our servers has a TeamSpeak 2 server running at the same IP address as the game server.  In this case at IP 208.144.248.100 as well.  The TeamSpeak 2 server temporary password is welcome.  Maybe I'll see you on there for a chat during the game. :D

To get ready for this event, you'll need to download the Free Libya! Campaign and AV Armory.  Refer to a previous post (click here) in our GR forums  for a list of download sites to obtain all of these mods.

BTW, besides two other Ghost Recon servers operating on our Dual OC3 Network, we have just brought live a BF 1942 game server which seems to be gaining popularity.

Enjoy!  :D

Regards,
|42nd| Badger
