Where'd the JABo opportunities go?

have this brand new plane, you see. It's a beauty, and even though I've died a lot in it, it's still one of the best.

I like this map much more than the previous island hopping cv dodging nonsensical flak hugging one.

it must be said however that with the front lines being so small, there's little chance of getting a good jabo run going.
the tendency is to either be intercepted on the way or over the target by a vastly superior number of enemies, or arrive at a field where 1000 friendlies are either furballing or have taken the field down completely.

hehe Yes Santa, it's true that runs are a bit far off when you're heavy, compared to previous maps... but there is a good side as well on this map: lots and lots of targets (GV's Tanks...). Whenever I take off, I usualy take an egg or two with me , because I am sure to find a ground target wherever I go  

I wish they fix that VH ack bug and give us some A/G rockets for the F8...

You guys need to go rook. We have at least a cpouple big german jabo runs a night. We get our field 3/4's of the time too. I'm fortunate to have squaddies and countrymen who can put their egg on target just about every time. Really makes a difference. Matter of fact, we just took a base 30 minutes ago using A8's and F8's. Wore it out in about 3-4 minutes, including all acks and hangars, and a couple ostwinds were delivered eggs as well. I don't think we lost anybody.

What HB said.  I've been on big F-8 runs each of the last 4 nights.  The one HB is referring to was a beauty.  I love looking back and seeing the crater smack dab in the center of the target.

Well, Hblair and Funked, there are good germans trikes here too now and then.

im talking about when it's just you and maybe a wingie there, no hassle with trying to get the very cooperative kniggits to, well cooperate. just select plane and go.

When I've done so, i've either found nothing to bomb due to excess friendlies around, or about 10-12 eney cons bearing down on my lonely F8.

Being the hero I am, I naturally continue, drop on target and get shot down

13th TAS Jabo's at will...we need to keep working on it, but we hit prolly 80% of what we intend to...the other 20% takes out essentials like toilet paper storage and latrines.
