Do as said above.

Once RW is up & running you can "Tune" a channel in game by typeing.
" .radio 5 xxx " where xxx is the channel number.

Channels 100 - 199 are country only
channels 200 - 299 can be tuned by anyone in the arena.

Give me a yell if you see me be glad to give you a test shout.

You have 5 Radio channels, the one with a little "v" is the Voice Channel (commonly called Channel 5)

It can be tuned to a Frequency :
101-199 (Friendlies only)
200-299 (All countries)

So, if you are Tuned in on CHANNEL5=> 123 , someone from YOUR COUNTRY will have to join in on that same channel (123)

To tune in RW on  radio channel "123 "type.radio 5 123 (Note the Dot & the spacing)

<S!>

I was going to post a "RTFM" with a link to help page on radio  , but I realised that this page hasn't been updated since beta versions, hehehe...

When I was younger I hated going to weddings.
It seemed that all of my aunts and the grandmotherly types used to  come up to me, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next."
They stopped that stuff after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

This is OT but as long as its related to RW, I'll ask- does anyone else have problems with RW minimizing AH?   Whenever I have RW enabled with auto start, my AH session pops up and then minimizes at least twice before it stabilizes.  And it happened everytime someone joins or drops on the RW channel I have open, too.

Real frustrating.

Yeah, RW is really quite flaky lately.

One trick is to be sure to set RW to Wav recording.  Direct sound recording and DX8 don't play nice together.

I have a question about RW - wasn't there some flap about the latest version reporting stuff back to Resounding? Anyone able to refresh the old memory cells? Or is this just rumor?

I'd like to know too....wasn't there a "Gator" program in the install too?  Im pretty security conscience here (used to work on Firewalls, etc) and Im all for voice communications, but not at the expense of marketers and my privacy.

Hmmm, I've been having irregular and very inconvenient minimizes lately... the problem may be RW, huh?

Yes, it's true. The current (latest) version of RW includes some use tracking software called Gator.

You can un-install it, and also deny it access to the 'net via your firewall settings.
