Effective Saturday March 17th, 2001, the 13th TAS will be moving to Rookland for the remainder of this tour.

Most of the 13th TAS members have flown for the Bishops since early beta...it is our homeland and we will return for the beginning of the next tour.

The purpose of this move is to allow and encourage a new perspective for our squad..a growth exercise if you will

We are looking forward to meeting those who fly for the Rooks and will continue to hunt our favorite targets, those pesky little LW knits!

Cyas Up!

You know, one of these tours, we're gonna have a mis-connection that will look like this:

80% of squads rotate to one country..numbers on a given night will look like this:

Country A: 152
Country B: 12
Country C: 10

Of course, since we are all human, Country A will take the path of least resistance and hit Country C since they have 2 less in that country.

Note: Intended as a joke, but could realistically happen.  Be happy that some squads stay in one country, or there'd be alot more folks quitting this sim.

From what I can understand Rip, at peak times the Rooks have still been at a numerical disadvantage.

If thr 13th is coming over just to try and even that out, a big <S> to them.

Rip,

People come and people go.  Rotating squads or non rotating...dont matter, wont change a thing......wouldnt be prudent....not gonna do it.....brocolli......yup, not gonna go there.

Glad to have you guys!

Just one question, does the gang rape that the bishops endured in the last 24 hrs. have anything to do with it?

I was out sick from work this morning, and snagged a field from the bish, they were down to 2 when I logged off. Did they get reset anyone?

Actually in answer to this.. no. The squad itself has been debating this issue for well on a week now.

When I can I fly at this time and while true.. the numbers difference isn't as great as the peak times on U.S. evenings.

Unfortunately someone is ALWAYs gonna be on the receiving end at one point or another

Jeeze, this keeps up and I won't have anything to shoot at.

It'll be....be....be like flying for the knits!

Has absolutely nothing to do with numbers at all...if anything, we chose the rooks due to their long tour in the barrel.

This is all about our squad and I thought a change of perspective would be a good thing...not to mention, getting to know some of the guys that kill me all the time.

We return to Bishops at the end of the tour

I am looking forward to flying with the enemies (ROOKS) I have fought against and respect. Its a chance for the remainder of the Tour to get to know Rooks. Always wondered what it would be like the fly with rooklands squads. Lots of talent... hope we all come away better for it and with more respect for each other as fellow AH Pilots!
