Is it possible to program your cougar to change the VOX channel in AH? Maybe using the rotaries on the throttle?

Anyone done this?

Within Revvins profile he had it setup with two buttons for two different channels. With the sheer number of possibilities for programming you should be able to define several different channel buttons using it. I know that some people have setup one of the hat switches for commo function.

Now one thing I ran into and still have not tracked down the cause is loosing one or both channel buttons in Revvins profile. I don't know if I am the only one this has happened to but I could talk for between 5 seconds and 3 hours without loosing the input to the channel. So it gets frustrating for me to try and track this down. I am think that it is a USB problem with my motherboard (ASUS A7V266) and the Cougar.

Yeah I have the S4 for the tuneable channel and the S1 button for range. I had thought about saving a button position by adding and /I /O modifier to the S1 button so it would read:

BTN S1 /I /H Tuneable_Mic
            /O /H Range_Mic

I added it but then kept the S4 switch to save confusion and to make sure I was on the right channel. I also have the T2,T3,T4,T5 cluster to switch between text channels.

Not sure what problem you are having, it appears to work ok for me but I have noticed the ammount of time you can talk on range being less than the tuneable channel and if memory serves me correctly this is a host setting HTC changed to deal with any possible lag issues.

Dear Dr. Revvin-

I am using your Macro file for my cougar. I have read the manual, and I am LOSING MY MIND!!!

Here's what I have now (PLease note the author)

Clipboard = ESC
Message_Window_Size = '
Radio_1=/. r a d i o_5_167 ENT
Radio_2 =  / . r a d i o_5_167 ENT
Radio_3 = CTL /
Radio_4 = ALT /
Radio_5 = SHF \

Now, I changed radio 1 and 2 thinking it would work just like the salvo function you programmed. It does'nt! For some reason, the joystick just keeps on following the old commands for the button like it has some loyalty to you!

Now, I chaged 1 and 2 as noted above, and saved the file, and updated the macros.

So what am I doing wrong?

AS always, revvin, I'm in your debt. If this keeps up, I'm going to have to name my first born male, Kevin.

Hi muckmaw :)

You're macro's won't work because they are slightly 'out' If you want a macro name with a space you add a '_' as you quite rightly did but for the actual macro command you need to add a 'SPC' to simulate the pressing of the spacebar between the other key commands so in your case it would be:

Radio_1=/ . r a d i o SPC 5 SPC 167 ENT

Its weird Revvin. Since 1.10 came out the radio functions went to hell in a handbasket for me. I was going fine for a while and now I never get anything other than keypresses showing up in the text buffer. I can't send anything other than text.
